DOLLAR NURSERY SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
We have a child-centred approach to experiential learning. Children at Dollar Nursery are encouraged to choose and plan activities and learning experiences for themselves, to be fully involved in their own learning.
WHO WILL LOOK AFTER MY CHILD?
Each child has their own key worker who tracks, monitors and assesses their key children’s development, in order to plan the next steps. They will observe and assess your child’s development and fully involve you at all times.
Your child will have a book to capture all of their special moments during their time with us, as well as daily communication with staff.
A PARENT AT DOLLAR NURSERY SCHOOL
We appreciate that it is a huge decision to send your child to nursery. We want this to be a happy occasion for all.
As part of this process, we have a member of staff dedicated to ensuring your child settles into nursery life. We encourage as many complimentary settling-in sessions as required. Your child will receive one to one care until they are completely settled and familiar with all aspects of the day.
We encourage all parents to be actively involved in all aspects of care at Dollar Nursery School on a daily basis.
EATING AT DOLLAR NURSERY SCHOOL
