DOLLAR NURSERY SCHOOL MANAGER

I would like to welcome you to Dollar Nursery School in the picturesque town of Dollar. My name is Carolyn Riddle and I am the owner and manager of the nursery, having taken over in 2012.

My background as a former primary school head teacher has given me the grounding to develop Dollar Nursery School into a facility of excellence for children aged 0-12 years. I firmly believe in learning through experience and this will be the principle upon which all of our philosophies throughout the nursery will be based.

I believe it is vital for us to work with parents to ensure our child-centred approach to learning is a partnership.

STAFFING

Each room has an experienced qualified member of staff as well as support workers. We also have an experienced member of staff who is responsible for children settling into the nursery and during transition.

We have a range of outside agencies who work with us at Dollar Nursery School as well as organised activities within the local community:

• Monday: Spanish Tuition (3-5's)
• Tuesday: Active Start Movement & Physical Activity (2-3's & 3-5's)
• Wednesday: Rugbytots (3-5's), Forrest Time (2-3's)
• Thursday: Hart Beeps Magical Musical Adventures (2-3's)
• Friday: Fun Fit Friday (Babies, 2-3's & 3-5's), Forrest Time (3-5's)
